Thursday November 9th we are back supporting Mik and the boys. This time in the lovely refurbished Social Club. This is our only Bath gig this year, so come along and have a great night of comedy and music.
So here is a nice little clip movie put together by the fabulous Miss Gemma Sheree. Featuring the voices of The BelleFleurs, Miss Tanya Rich, Miss Kate Harbour and Miss Emma ‘Bluebell’ Spark. Recorded and Mixed at J&J Studio Bristol. Produced by Tanya Rich. With a big thanks to Tim King for pulling It together/tweaking the arrangement. To Malc X (LDA Media) for the original Schools Out arrangement & the playing of all the instruments. School’s Out written by Cooper & Bruce Grangehill Theme by Alan Hackshaw
So a couple of weeks ago we decided to go into the recording studio to lay down one of our oldest (but very popular) songs and three new ones. There are some snippets of them here, and you get to see us ‘behind the scenes’
With thanks to Nathan for engineering and Ralph Yandell for filming and making us forget he was there!
Also apologies to any fans of the Dutch band Focus;)
We’ve been a bit quiet, but not resting oh no. Miss Rich is working on new arrangements with Mr Tim King. We’re looking for new outfits, we have lots of things coming up in the second half of this year, starting with Bristol Pride July 9th 2016. We are hopefuly going into the studio again this year to do some new recording and lots of other stuff that we think is exciting and will revealled when the time is right!
We were so delighted to be asked to perform for The Lord Taverner’s Guernsey Branch at their annual Halloween event at The Duke of Richmond Hotel, St Peter’s Port. www.dukeofrichmond.com
We were met by the lovely Nigel (Vice Chairman) and his awesome wife Sandra, who were behind our booking; and after oohing and ahh-ing at our room, with 3 dear little beds, like a truncated version of Mallory Towers, we joined them in the bar!
Have ears will travel
Don’t think the audience knew what to expect when 3 women in slinky dresses and tight corsets….and rabbit ears walked onto the stage. They didn’t know who we were either really, as the ‘compere’ didn’t say ,so lots of jolly fun, performing to a very well dressed bunch of Zombie’s, Vampire’s and assorted monsters.
Had great fun later dancing to the excellent JoMaLi and even sang some impromptu BV’s on Mustang Sally. www.jomali.co.uk
We made a little video to show you the backstage antics we get to up to which we have posted here…After the gig
We were proud to help raise funds for such a worthwhile charity.www.lordstaverners.org
We had lots of fun on Friday 16th October 2015, performing as part of ‘El Cabaret’ at the wonderful Pata Negra in Bristol…www.patanegrabristol.com
The audience whooped and hollered and we even had to do an unplanned encore! We picked up new fans and it was good to see regular BelleFleur Fans or ‘Fleurettes! in the audience too:) Comments from new fans Lisa and Melissa on social media sites….
